Another dimension to the white water experience on the Zambezi is where clients are taken down the rapids in Topolino Duo Kayaks. 

Paddles, life jackets and helmets are issued at check-in.  A comprehensive safety talk and practice session is done at the bottom of the gorge before commencing the day's activity. 

An experienced white water kayaker who steers the boat through the rapids acts as River Guide.  The kayaking trip is run in conjunction with the daily rafting trip for added safety.  Should the kayak capsize in a rapid, the guide attempts an Eskimo roll, failing which the client and guide end up swimming the rest of the rapid! 

Tandem Kayaking can be arranged on a half or full day basis - we strongly recommend that you book in advance between July and January.
