Chikoko Tree Camp: walk 2 hours OR drive/walk 30 minutes

Mwanya Airstrip(New Lukusi): drive/flight 40 minutes
Tafika Camp: drive/flight 50 minutes
Crocodile River Camp: drive/flight/drive/walk 1 hour 50 minute
Chikoko Tree Camp: drive/flight/drive/walk 1 hour 10 minutes
Chikoko Tree Camp:

- Accommodation
Made of local materials such as thatch, reeds, poles etc
Tafika: 6 chalets, 12 to14 beds (4 double/twin double beds+ 1 suite/king size bed and two double beds+ 1 honeymoon/king sized bed)
Chikoko Walking Trails:
Chikoko Tree Camp: 3 chalets (2 double/twin + 1 double/queen bed)
Crocodile River Camp: 3 chalets (2 double/twin + 1 double/queen bed)
Mwaleshi Camp: 4 chalets, 6 to 8 beds (3 double/twin + 1 double/king bed). Groups of 8 guests accepted, 6 guest maximum preferred
 
- Airport / Airstrips
Mfuwe International Airport has customs and immigration facilities.
Mwanya Airstrip (also called New Lukusi Airstrip) (S12:51' E032:02')- a grass strip of 1200m, 15 to 20 minutes drive from Tafika and Chikoko Walking Trails camps.
Mwaleshi Airstrip (S11:58' E032:21') 10 minutes drive from Mwaleshi Camp.
Airport Taxes paid on departure only.
Flights departing for a destination within Zambia US$8 per person
Flights departing for an international destination US$25 per person
 

- Child Policy
Tafika: Children under 10 years accepted at management discretion only.
Chikoko Walking Trails: children 12 years of age and over.
Mwaleshi Camp: Children 12 years of age and over.

- Battery Charging
Battery Charging facilities are available at Tafika Camp (220V)

- Currency
US $ Cash is the currency of preference. Notes must be new with big heads. Older notes are not accepted by Zambian banks due too the high incidence of counterfeit money.
Visa / Master card and American Express facilities are accepted at Tafika.

- Visas
Entry Visas are required for most passports and cost US$50 per person at the point of entry.

- Meet and Greet
Meet and Greet at Lusaka Airport should be pre-booked with your agent or Remote Africa Safaris at the time of booking.

- Private vehicle /Private guide
This may be requested at the time of booking. A daily rate is charged per vehicle/guide. Please check the rate sheet.
