Pestana Bazaruto Lodge - Activities
For those who don't fish, or would like a day off, there is first-class snorkelling on the nearby reefs. A number of popular sites are sheltered from the open sea by reefs creating safe, calm bays for snorkelling. The water is crystaline clear, 23 degrees in winter and up to 32 degrees during summer. Quite apart from the numerous species of brilliant corals, a bewildering range of dazzlingly beautiful fish can be seen. Starfish, sea cucumbers, colourful crustaceans and mollusca are equally abundant.
