Our natural swimming pool is set beneath shady palm trees on an open deck that is perfect for sunbathing or enjoying a refreshing drink from the nearby bar. A jungle gym and trampoline provide lots of fun for our younger visitors.

Food is available throughout the day at the African Skies restaurant. It offers a large and varied menu, daily specials and some Zambian specialties.

MARAMBA RESTAURANT
This is open from 7am to 9pm. Offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Choose from a wide-ranging menu and check out the daily specials. Menus available at the bar.

SWIMMING
The Management take no responsibility for you in our beautiful natural pool, but it is there for the enjoyment of the residents. An adult must accompany children under 12 years.

JUNGLE GYM & TRAMPOLINE
The Jungle Gym and trampoline are there for the enjoyment of children staying with us. Adults must take responsibility for their children.

SHOP
This is open daily from 7.00am to 4pm. The shop is often closed on Sundays.

BRAAIS/BBQ's
Braai stands are available around the lodge for the use of residents. Charcoal or firewood is available from the reception.

WATER
Livingstone water is treated but please used bottled water (available at the bar) if you have any doubts.

MALARIA
This is common in the area. Please make sure you take precautions. It is advisable to take prophylactics . Mosquito coils and insect spray are provided in the chalets.

WILD ANIMALS
The Lodge is situated in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and the animals entering the grounds are WILD. If you are injured by an elephant or a hippo because of your recklessness, the precious animal concerned will have to be shot. Please do not feed the baboons or vervet monkeys as this encourages them to become a nuisance. The Management cannot accept responsibility for your safety.

MEDICAL FACILITIES
There are several doctors and clinics in town as well as several chemists’ shops. Please ask for details at the reception. Speciality Emergency Services (SES) now has a base in Livingstone with a 24-hour private ambulance service.
