HISTORICAL LIVINGSTONE
A Booklet entitled “The Historical Guide to Livingstone” is available in the Lodge shop. This is a good guide to historical buildings in Livingstone. The book guides you on a walk around the town centre and tells you the stories of each building.
MUSEUMS
Livingstone Museum - this is in the middle of town and is well worth a visit. As well as an anthropological section, there are exhibits on witchcraft and natural history. The comprehensive collection of David Livingstone’s memorabilia is a special feature of this museum.
Railway Museum – A must for railway buffs as it depicts the history of Zambian railways and the building of the Victoria Falls bridge.
Field Museum – This is at the Falls near the curio sellers and it stands on an archaeological site which provides evidence that people were living here 2.5 million years ago.
