The original 1920’s  homestead,  surrounded by individual rooms, is nestled in amongst 30 acres  of lush, sub-tropical gardens with emerald green lawns that cascade down to the edge of the White River running through   the bottom of  the estate.

Whether it’s a small and intimate affair for 30 close friends or a lavish wedding banquet for 200 guests,  Jatinga  Country  Lodge is able to offer a tailor-made wedding package that will fulfil your dreams and meet all your needs.

The lodge is home to a quaint chapel - built on the banks of the White River - with  arched open sides allowing the  garden scents to perfume the air.  Guests seated on the  lawn are still part  of the ceremony and are able to witness your exchanging of vows. 

A magnificent,  elevated  wooden deck, overlooking the White River, is the ideal place for wedding guests to enjoy a pre- or post wedding drink while you and your entourage capture this auspicious occasion on film.  The gardens at Jatinga are magnificent and will compliment your wedding photographs perfectly.

 Thereafter  it’s time for  you and  your  guests to enjoy  a wedding feast par excellance!  Our Chef will prepare a mouth-watering wedding menu that will cater for every guest’s taste and preference - from caviar to cheesecake!

Our function room - with fold away doors leading onto a private garden - can comfortably seat  over 100  guests with ample room for a dance floor.  A  garden marquee, draped and decorated in soft, dreamy muslin, extends the seating area of the room for 100 guests or more.

Your  wedding night is  one that you’ll  want to remember forever and the Honeymoon  suite at  Jatinga  Country  Lodge is an  experience  in itself.  Designed  as a  completely  open-plan  experience, the  gloriously decadent four-poster bed has pride of place in the suite that is furnished in the most romantic of furnishings and fabrics.  A private garden and splash pool ensures complete and total privacy for newly weds.

Our 10 Superior rooms and three Luxury suites - furnished in Victorian, Colonial, Provencal,  African Colonial, French Country and English Country themes are available  should you have  guests that  would prefer to stay over and make a weekend of your wedding day.

An al fresco champagne brunch - served on our patio under the shade of a magnificent Pride of India tree - the morning after your wedding must surely be the perfect end to a perfect wedding - and a great start to married life!
