STARTERS on offer include:

• Roast Pumpkin Chilli Soup 
  (with coriander and served with a herbed grissini)
• Freshly Baked Cheese & Butternut Soufflé  
  (a light, savoury oven baked soufflé with salad greens, roasted butternut seeds and shavings of Parmesan) 
• Springbok Carpaccio
  (thinly sliced fillet of Springbok with a raspberry vinaigrette & berry coulis)

• Crab Curry
  (crab in the shell prepared with our Chef's secret curry recipe, simply oozing with flavour, served with jasmine rice and sambals.)
• Marinated Roast Duck
  (duck breast seasoned with Chinese Five Spice and served with oriental stir-fry orange segments & sesame seeds)
• Chickpea Curry
  (chickpeas prepared in aromatic curry spices served on creamed spinach with parsley potatoes)

• Banana Foster
  (bananas smothered in a caramel and pecan nut sauce wrapped in warm pancakes with fresh farm cream)
• Hot Chocolate Soufflé
  (soufflé laced with Van Der Hum liqueur and dusted with icing sugar and a dolop of fresh farm cream on the side.) 
• Jatinga Homemade Ice Cream
  (made from rich farm cream coupled with mouth-watering flavours, Kahlua, Crème Brûlé, chocolate or passion fruit, you choose!)
• Meringue Nest
  (fluffy meringue nest overflowing with mixed summer berries in Kirsch and a dollop of honeyed mascarpone)

Light meals are on offer throughout the day and can be enjoyed in the pub, on the veranda, next to the pool or down at the deck.

One of Jatinga’s legendary picnic hampers are a must if you are planning a trip into the nearby Kruger National Park or a day trip to take in some of the sights in the area.

The same applies if you are planning an evening out at The Barnyard Theatre where you are encouraged to take a hamper along and enjoy dinner in the festive atmosphere prior to the show beginning.
