Tanda Tula

There is no better way to recharge batteries run flat by the stresses of urban living than by retreating into the bush. And there is no better bush experience than that offered by Tanda Tula Safari Camp. Our approach is very simple - we look after our guest’s physical needs by feeding and accommodating them to five star standards; and we re-connect their spirits with nature by giving them intimate and safe access to all the creatures of the creatures of the wild, big and small.

Tanda Tula is located in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park. It is renowned as the most luxurious tented camp in South Africa. There are just magnificent thatched East Africa style tents. They all overlook the River, which is dry for most of the year, so you can relax on your spacious and private wooden deck and watch the passing parade. All your comfort needs are taken care of inside the tent, which also features a sumptuous Victorian bath and a secluded outdoor shower.

Delicious meals are served in a variety of venues from private meals on your deck to poolside lunches to convivial evenings around the fire in the boma. The bush breakfasts are a highlight.
