DAY 1 HOUSE OF WAINE, Nairobi
Met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to House of Waine for 1 night on a bed & breakfast basis.
DAY 2 ELSA’S KOPJE, Meru National Park
You will be collected at 06h45 and transferred to Wilson airport for your Air Kenya scheduled flight to Meru departing at 07h45. You will met on arrival and transferred to Elsa’s Kopje.
DAY 3 & 4 ELSA’S KOPJE
Here visitors will see a more diverse range of species than in any other Park or Reserve. Regular sightings include Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Elephant, Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Lesser Kudu, Grant’s Gazelle, Leopard, Lion, Cheetah, Rhino and the rare, elusive Greater Kudu. Meru is famous for its bird life, including riverine and forest species as well as the arid dry country species.
Other attractions include bush breakfasts and sundowners and visits to the Tharaka tribal village on the Southern Boundary of the Park.
DAY 5 COTTARS CAMP, Masai Mara
You will be transferred to Meru airstrip for a private charter flight at 08h30 to Nanyuki to connect with the Air Kenya scheduled flight departing at 10h00 to the Masai Mara. On arrival you will be met at the airstrip and transferred to Cottars camp with game viewing en route.
DAY 6 & 7 COTTARS CAMP
Being close to the border with the Serengeti, the spectacular wildebeest migration moves through this area every year and prolific game viewing is guaranteed whether on foot or in a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
DAY 8 DEPARTURE
After a last game drive in the Masai Mara, catch the 11h00 Air Kenya flight back to Nairobi. A Cheli & Peacock driver will transfer you to your Nairobi hotel or to the international airport for your journey home.
