The Polana has long been regarded as the foremost hotel in Maputo. The Hotel comprises two main sections – the original 1922 colonial-style building with 122 rooms (including suites), and the Mar which comprises 65 rooms in a separate building across from the swimming pool.
All rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with air-conditioning, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini bar, direct-dial telephone, complimentary internet access, television and room safe.
Meals can be enjoyed at the Terrace Restaurant or in the coffee shop which serves light meals, in addition to teas, coffees, cakes and pastries.
Facilities at the Polana include a tennis court, swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna and garden chess set. Guests can also enjoy the services of a hair salon, bank and tobacco shop.
