AFRICAN WILDLIFE

Q: What are the characteristic animal species of the area?
A: Ngorongoro Crater Lodge offers excellent year-round game viewing including lion, elephant, black rhino, eland, leopard, buffalo, cheetah, hyena, hippo, wildebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, zebra, reedbuck, flamingo and klipspringer. Ngorongoro Crater Lodge also provides ideal access to the birthing grounds of the Great Migration.
