The picturesque harbour town of Lüderitz was the first German settlement in Namibia and to this day there remains a heritage of graceful colonial architecture. Succulent oysters, good fishing, a variety of aquatic birds, seals and dolphins playing in the bay and the ghost town of nearby Kolmanskop all add to the attraction of Lüderitz.
Situated in a quiet part of town, the Sea View Hotel Zum Sperrgebiet offers superb views over the town, the harbour and the Bay of Lüderitz. The Hotel has 22 bedrooms, 18 of which have their own balcony. All rooms are en suite; eight with a bath and the rest with showers. All are equipped with a hair dryer, TV and radio, direct dial telephone and tea/coffee-making facilities.
The public areas consist of a lounge and bar from where you can experience breathtaking sunsets whilst sipping on sundowners. Meals are enjoyed in the Hotel’s a la carte restaurant where seafood is a speciality.
