Spring flowers
From July through to October the veld becomes a carpet of colour with thousands of spring flowers.
Rock art
The reserve is rich in Bushman heritage with over 130 pristine rock art sites. Visitors may join daily early-morning guided walks along river beds and through the veld to view a selection of the sites.
Mountain biking
Mountain bikes are available for guests to use in the reserve.
Daily evening game drives
Evening game drives through the reserve to view the game - gemsbok, bontebok, Cape mountain zebra, eland, red hartebeest, black wilderbeest, vaal rhebok, klipspringer, springbok, steenbok and many other species of mammals and birds. Evening game drives include complimentary snacks and sundowners and there are frequent sightings of aardwolf, African wild cat, bateared fox, Cape fox and porcupine.
Scenic beauty of the area
Waterfalls, natural rock pools and mountain landscapes all form part of the reserve which is located at the foothills of the Cederberg.
Luxury accommodation
32 Guests can be accommodated in seven standard rooms and nine luxury suites. All rooms and suites have en-suite bathrooms with separate bath and shower, mini-bars, under-floor heating, ceiling fans and temperature control units, as well as their own private patios.

Conference facilities
Conference facilities and secretarial services on request. When the Manor House is booked for exclusive use (four suites), the Manor House dining room, bar and covered veranda may be utilised for executive meetings (maximum eight delegates).
Recreational facilities
Extensive DVD and book library, wine cellar and 4 swimming pools (1 heated) are available for visitors' relaxation. Outdoor activities include mountain biking, abseiling, fly-fishing, canoeing and walking trails of between one and three hours.
The Spa at Bushmans Kloof
The Spa is managed by the independent Gingko Tree Spa and Management Corporation, with two therapists in attendance, using the Dermalogica skincare range. The following treatments are available: Touch Therapies, Skincare Treatments, Beauty Salon Services and Spa Body Treatments.

Dress
All year: casual dress, comfortable shoes, and bring cameras and binoculars. In summer we recommend hats, swimwear, sun-block and sunglasses. During winter warm clothing is required: we suggest scarves, gloves, hats and warm jackets for the evening game drives.
Wheelchair access/Frail care
Bushmans Kloof is located in a wilderness area. The terrain is rocky and uneven and has steps in and around the lodge. It is therefore more suitable to active, fully-mobile guests.
