An early morning road transfer takes you from Victoria Falls Village across the border to Wenela Harbour in Kasane. From here, you are met and transferred by boat to Ichingo Safari Lodge on Impalila Island, situated on the eastern tip of the Caprivi. Ichingo offers an unforgettable water experience. This afternoon you may go out onto the river by boat in search of birds such as the rare African finfoot. You stay is in Meru-style tents with thatched en suite facilities.
Spend the day doing activities like taking an island walk to a nearby traditional village with a professional guide. Visit an ancient baobab tree, from the top of which the confluence of four countries can be seen. For the keen angler, Ichingo offers some of the best fly-fishing rapids in the country. This afternoon, while sipping a sundowner, take a leisurely mokoro (dugout canoe) trip to one of the surrounding islands.
After breakfast, transfer by boat back to Wenela Harbour where you are met and transferred to Victoria Falls Village.
