Life Hotels OR Tambo is situated less than 5 minutes (3 kilometres) drive from OR Tambo International Airport in Kempton Park, Johannesburg. The hotel is probably the second best placed hotel in terms of accessibility and convenience for airport travellers.
Consisting of 90 hotel suites, each consisting of one and a half bedrooms, bathroom, kitchenette, lounge / dining area and a small outdoor balcony. Each hotel suite can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults (double bed) and 1 child (under 13).

- The ground floor conference room can accommodate 60 delegates school room style and 50 guests in a banquet layup. Pre-assembly and tea areas are on the northern terrace or around the swimming pool, which is directly opposite reception
- The first floor conference venue with its own private terrace, can accommodate 80 conference delegates and 80 guests in a banqueting format.

Map & Directions
The hotel is situated a mere 3km from the OR Tambo International Airport. A minibus shuttle moves between the hotel and airport every hour from the hotel reception.
On exiting the airport keep left and take the R21/Pretoria on-ramp, continue along the R21 for 2 km’s and then take Voortrekker/cargo off-ramp on your left. At set of traffic lights turn left into Voortrekker, follow Voortrekker under overpass bridge into Central Avenue, keep to the right, at first set of traffic lights turn right into Grayilla Road, pass through first set of traffic lights and turn right at 4-way stop into Kempton Road. 250m along road, hotel will be on your right on the corner of Bosch and Kempton roads.
The hotel is well signposted off the R21 to Pretoria which is the arterial freeway you must take when leaving the airport if you are hiring a vehicle or not travelling with the hotels shuttle.
If you are residing in the hotel proceed directly into the undercover parking garage, informing our security staff of your last name as they will have these records at the entrance to the garage.

On leaving the airport take the R21 to Pretoria
Take the first exit from the R21 - M96/Voortrekker Road
Turn left at the robots
Stay right and continue along Voortrekker road until you arrive at the first intersection with Greyilla avenue and turn right
Continue along Greyilla Avenue, go through one intersection until you arrive at Kempton Road stop street
Turn right into Kempton Road
Travel along Kempton road until the Bosch Avenue intersection and Life ORT is on your right and Life The Aviator is on your left hand side
