On the Zambian bank of the Zambezi River, overlooking the Mana Pools National Park shoreline, is Kayila Lodge, an exclusive 12-bedded safari lodge. There are 3 beautifully appointed twin thatched en-suite lodges, the honeymoon suite with its sunken bath, a double lodge and built 30 feet up an African Sausage Tree, the famous Kayila treehouse suite. There are a multitude of activities to chose from when staying at Kayila, including bush walks with an armed professional guide, hikes to the nearby escarpment, game viewing by boat or vehicle or simply relaxing in the beautiful gardens of the lodge.

Night six at Mwambashi River Lodge (Lower Zambezi National Park ) on a fully inclusive basis.
Situated deep within the relatively unexplored Lower Zambezi National Park, directly opposite Chikwenya Island and on the eastern boundary of Mana Pools, lies Mwambashi River Lodge. Mwambashi accommodates 16 guests in large comfortable East African-style safari tents built on raised wooden platforms. Each unit has en suite shower, toilet and handbasin. Of all Safari Par Excellence lodges, Mwambashi offers guests the greatest wildlife viewing opportunities. The lodge also conducts nights drives, sundowner cruises and short canoe trips.
On day 7, clients can canoe from Mwambashi River Lodge to Chakwenga with a return game drive through the Lower Zambezi National Park - this is an option.
