It is perfectly located for you to explore any of the tourist attractions that Mpumalanga has to offer and is only 3 and a half hours drive from JHB and a mere 25 minutes from the famous Kruger National Park, or approximately half an hour's drive from the Numbi Gate.

Our well informed staff will assist in planning self drive day trips or guided tours. Game drives depart direct from White River Lodge.

For the diligent business-man of today we are conveniently situated near the fast developing city Nelspruit. The Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport is easily accessible and only 10 minutes drive from the Hotel. Transfers can be arranged on request.

Our rooms are tastefully decorated to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Out of our 52 Rooms, 33 are doubles, and 19 are Twin rooms.

We also cater for families with 1 to 3 children which we can accommodate via inter-leading family rooms or on sleeper couches.

Our modern air-conditioned rooms are also fully equipped with a 9 channel colour TV with DSTV, telephone and internet facilities if needed. There are coffee and tea facilities in each room for your convenience.

Room service is available until 21:00 every evening from our delectable A la Carte Restaurant.

International dialing is also available from our rooms which come with a complimentary telephone directory.

The Lodge also offers a full English breakfast which is included in our rates and served in our dining area overlooking the famous Legogote Mountains.

A full A la Carte Restaurant, seating up to 120 guests is situated in our lush garden overlooking the pool.

Our Restaurant is open to the public from 06:30 to 22:00 every evening.

Or take a full day drive to the spectacular Panorama route on the Drakensberg escarpment.

If you do not wish to drive yourselves, White River Lodge can arrange for a full day trip in a minibus, or an open vehicle that will allow you to explore the splendor of the Kruger National Park and surrounding areas.

Where you can sit back and enjoy a sundowner at the "Twilight Lounge" or out on the pool deck. There are also several bird species that are to be found in our manicured gardens with spectacular scenery of the Legogote Mountain, this is the perfect retreat for the more discerning traveler.

Or let us take you on a journey into the heart of Africa with our cultural theme evenings under African skies, where you will be entertained by the magical White River Lodge cultural dancers in their show called "The sensational Swazi dance experience" live in our Boma. We have received raving reviews and ladies and gentlemen this show is an absolute must. Reservations are essential.

On-site recreational facilities include a refreshing swimming pool, which is ideal for cooling down after a languid day in the glorious Lowveld sunshine. And for the distinguished golfer there are 3 golf courses within 15min from the Hotel.
