Elephant-back safaris provide an exciting opportunity to interact with these gentle giants whilst game viewing and experiencing the African bush. Guests are seated on comfortable canvas-covered saddles positioned behind an experienced elephant handler. From this vantage point, they are able to view game from close proximity as the elephants move silently and in a single file through the bush. The unique and memorable experience of interacting with Africa’s gentle giants will be savoured long after guests alight from the patiently kneeling elephants.

Camp Jabulani is located on a 13 000ha game reserve. Plains game such as various antelope species, Giraffe and Zebra may be encountered. It is not uncommon to see the Big Five as the reserve provides sanctuary to Lion, wild Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Buffalo. An abundant bird life delights bird watchers.
