The African/classical architecture is epitomised by warm wood tones. Luxurious bathrooms feature freestanding Victorian baths from the turn of the century. Each room has a colour TV, Satellite, M-Net, radio, telephone, bath, separate shower, hairdryer, electric razor plug, multi-electric plugs for international use and multi-telephone plugs for computer connections, as well as its own balcony facing the lagoon, sea and forest. Suites interlead to adjoining twin-bedded rooms and newspapers are delivered each day.
The Hotel offers a range of restaurants and bars: Pool Terrace where guests can enjoy a light à la carte lunch; The Lounge is the most popular after-dinner venue where evening treats are served, including coffee, cognac, liqueurs and cigars, as well as a selection of cakes, pastries and other tea-time delights during the day; The Pool Bar overlooking the swimming pool area serves drinks and light snacks. Elevated on stilts, high above the fourteenth fairway, the bar offers you a magnificent view of the Indian Ocean.

Zimbali Lodge is a 5-Star boutique hotel offering five-star luxury accommodation, and is decorated to complement the natural surrounding forest. The classical architecture is accentuated by warm wood and russet autumn tones. The bathrooms are luxurious and feature Victorian baths from the turn of the century. Each room has a mini bar which is well stocked with a selection of beverages, light snacks. Butlers are on hand to attend to the guest's every need including room service and a very select ensemble of delicious snacks and light meals grace the room service menu.

The restaurant accommodates ninety guests indoors, with outdoor dining on the Fountain Court. This intimate venue, in which the décor enhances the colonial mood of the Lodge, is lavishly designed, incorporating the rich hues of crafted wooden furniture and specially designed fabrics. The chef insists that only the freshest ingredients are good enough for the delicious meals presented at Zimbali Lodge. |

Breakfast:
Breakfast is served in the restaurant or in the secluded Fountain Court and the menu includes Continental breakfasts and Cooked breakfasts with delicious plates of Eggs Benedict, Eggs Florentine and French Omelettes. Golfers with early morning tee-off times can enjoy a Continental breakfast. Alternatively, your personal butler can serve breakfast in the comfort of your luxurious bedroom.
Lunch:
The emphasis is on lightness, freshness and healthy eating. The lunch menu comprises of a choice of exotic salads, light grills and fish. Lunches can be enjoyed on the patio or at the pool-deck.
Dinner:
The dinner menu is an A'la Carte and a local speciality menu.
THE LOUNGE:

The superbly appointed Lounge has a magnificent fireplace and its colonial elegance provides a delightful after dinner venue. Nightcaps are served and include coffee, cognac and liqueurs.
POOL BAR:
Hours: 10h00 - 01h00 daily
Elevated on stilts, high above the fourteenth fairway and offering a magnificent view of the Indian Ocean, guests can enjoy a light lunch and drinks in the beauty of the great outdoors. The bar is open to the balmy subtropical air and overlooks the swimming pool area with its backdrop of lush, indigenous forest. A variety of cigars are also available.

Tennis:
There are two floodlit tennis courts. Tennis rackets and balls are available for use by Lodge residents, from the Lodge reception.
Swimming:
The beautiful pool area is incredible with its scenic appointment overlooking the Ocean. The pool appears to meander directly into the sea and offers guests a tranquil and relaxing diversion. Sun loungers, umbrellas and towels are available around the pool.
Beach & Lake:
Guests can soak up the sun and the splendour of the beach or the unique lakeside and even enjoy an al fresco picnic. The secluded beach pool is equipped with umbrellas, loungers are provided. Refreshments can be purchased at the the beach kiosk. This stretch of coastline is not designated for swimming however, other bathing beaches are located nearby. |

Horse Riding:
Take a gentle canter around the estate on horseback, meander through the indigenous forest and onto the beach, accompanied by experienced guides. Bookings can be made via concierge.
Bird and Butterfly Watching:
As a protected environment, the Estate is home to a wide variety of birdlife, magnificent butterflies and buck.
Forest Walks:
Enjoy the splendour of this sub-tropical forest with a brisk walk or a leisurely stroll. You may encounter a shy buck along the way.
Golf:
The superb 18-hole championship golf course has been designed specifically for use by golf cart and offers one of the most breathtaking, scenic golf experiences in the world. |

Guests can treat themselves to the health and luxury they deserve, with a whole range of therapies. There are 4 treatment rooms for body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures and massages as well as a Health Hydro Shower.

The Zimbali Country Club's Golf Course is a par 72 championship course, designed by former South African PGA and British Open Champion, Tom Weiskopf. This course is both challenging and superbly beautiful, offering world-class standards for top players and higher handicap players alike.

Golfers can have their clubs conveniently stored for them at the Club House whilst not in use and locker room facilities are also available. The Club's Halfway House offers a variety of light and comprehensive meals and the Crowned Eagle Restaurant and Bar offers a delicious A'la Carte menu.

From central Gauteng, take the N3 following the signs to Durban. On reaching the greater Durban area, follow the signs to the North Coast, this will lead you directly onto the N2 North Coast freeway. It is about 6 hour drive from central Johannesburg.
From Durban, KZN:
Take the N2 North following signs to the North Coast and Umhlanga. Continue on the N2 and take the M4 turnoff (just before Ballito) and follow signs to Zimbali Lodge.
